Chechen State University is one of the oldest Higher Educational Institutions in the city of Grozny. Chechen State University was established in 1938 as a Teacher Training Institute by Chechen-Ingush Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. On September 1, 1938 Teachers Training Institute was transformed into the Chechen-Ingush State Pedagogical Institute with a four-year training period. At that time the Institute had philological, historical, physical and mathematical faculties. In 1956 the Institute opened the Faculty of Physical Education, in 1958 it opened the Faculty of Pedagogy and the Methods of primary education, in 1960 the faculty of natural geography was opened, in 1962 – the faculty of Foreign Languages. In 1971 the Institute was transformed into the Chechen-Ingush State University. In 1980 the University already had 8 faculties. In 1990 Chechen-Ingush State University opened the Medical Faculty. On 28 February 1995 the Chechen-Ingush State University was renamed into Chechen State University. In 1997 Chechen State University opened the Agro-technological faculty. In November 1997 the Urus-Martan Correspondence Department of the Chechen State University was opened. On May 6, 2003 University was declared under the name of State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education “Chechen State University”. Today Chechen State University has 72 departments and 13 faculties. Chechen State University has 814 teachers, including 55 doctors, professors, 236 candidates of sciences. Today Chechen State university has trained almost 20,000 students. Chechen State University has its own botanical garden, zoological museum, historical museum, a library with 5 service departments, subscriptions and reading rooms, and a catering plant.
Pskov still preserves much of its medieval walls, built from the 13th century. Its medieval citadel is called either the Krom or the Kremlin. Within its walls the 256-foot-tall (78 m) Trinity Cathedral rises, founded in 1138 and rebuilt in the 1690s. Pskov is exceedingly rich in tiny, squat, picturesque churches, dating mainly from the 15th and the 16th centuries. On 7 July 2019, the Churches of the Pskov School of Architecture was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Kuban State Technical University is one of the oldest institutions of higher education in the Kuban and the North Caucasus. Kuban State Technical University was founded in 1918 as the North Caucasian Polytechnic Institute. Over the years Kuban State Technical University has repeatedly changed the name, in 1919 Kuban Polytechnic Institute, in 1923 Kuban Agricultural Institute and 1930 North-Caucasian Institute of Food Industry. In 1943 North-Caucasian Institute of Food Industry was united with Krasnodar Institute of Food Industry, on the basis of which in 1963 Krasnodar Polytechnic Institute was created. In November 1993, the Institute received university status and was renamed Kuban State Technical University. Currently Kuban State Technical University enrolls 6700 students within Russia and 21 foreign countries. Since formation Kuban State Technical University has trained 28000 professionals. Kuban State Technical University has 12 faculties, 56 departments and a teaching staff of 1400 skilled teachers.

Moscow State University of Technology and Management named after K.G Razumovsky is a higher educational institution in Moscow city, the Russian Federation. Moscow State University of Technology and Management was established in 1953. Moscow State University of Technology and Management formerly known as All-Union Correspondence Institute of Food Industry, Moscow State Correspondence Institute of Food Industry, Moscow State Technological Academy, in 2004 Moscow State University of Technology and Management. In 2010 Moscow State University of Technology and Management changed into Moscow State University of Technology and Management name K.G Razumovsky. Today Moscow State University of Technology and Management prepares specialists in economic, technological, mechanical, biological and humanitarian profiles for the food processing industry. Currently Moscow State University of Technology and Management has 11 faculties, 57 departments and staff of 980 skilled teachers. Every year Moscow State University of Technology and Management enrolls 2500 students. During all this time period Moscow State University of Technology and Management has trained 31000 professionals.

Kemerovo State Institute of Food Science and Technology is a Higher Educational Institution in Kemerovo city. Kemerovo State Institute of Food Science and Technology is a center of training for the food processing enterprises and other industries in Siberia, Far East and Urals. Kemerovo State Institute of Food Science and Technology was founded in 1972. Currently Kemerovo State Institute of Food Science and Technology is a home of about ten thousand students. Till now Kemerovo State Institute of Food Science and Technology has trained over 24000 professionals. Kemerovo State Institute of Food Sciences and Technologies structure includes 7 faculties and 36 departments in 5 academic buildings. Moscow State University of Food Production Technologies is one of the largest technical universities in Russia to train specialists for the food processing industries, agribusiness and biotechnology industries. Moscow State University of Food Production Technologies was founded in 1930 as a Moscow Institute of Technology of grain and flour, to prepare qualified engineers and skilled workers for the food industry. In 1941 Moscow Institute of Technology of grain and flour merged with the Institute of Moscow Institute of the milling industry and elevator industry. The combined institution was named as Moscow Technological Institute of Food Industry. In 1992 Moscow Technological Institute of Food Industry became Moscow Technological Academy of Food Industry. In 1996 Moscow Technological Academy of Food Industry received the status of University. Currently Moscow State University of Food Production Technologies enrolls 8000 students. Till now Moscow State University of Food Production Technologies has trained 22000 students. Today Moscow State University of Food Production Technologies has 4 faculties, 35 departments and staff of 525 highly qualified teachers.

Saint Petersburg State University of Refrigeration and Food Technology is a State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education in Saint Petersburg. Saint Petersburg State University of Refrigeration and Food Technology is the largest educational and scientific center in the North-West region of Russia. Saint Petersburg State University of Refrigeration and Food Technology was established in 1931 as Leningrad Institute of Mechanics and Technology of refrigeration plant. In 1941 Leningrad Institute of Mechanics and Technology of Refrigeration Plant and Leningrad Institute of Food Technology merged together to form Leningrad Institute of Refrigeration and Food Technology. As the name of Leningrad city changed into Saint Petersburg, Leningrad Institute of Refrigeration and Food Technology became Saint Petersburg State University of Refrigeration and Food Technology. Today Saint Petersburg State University of Refrigeration and Food Technology has 6 faculties, 33 departments and staff of 520 highly qualified teachers. Every year Saint Petersburg State University of Refrigeration and Food Technology enrolls 2700 students. Till now Saint Petersburg State University of Refrigeration and Food Technology has trained 24000 professionals for food industries.

Vologda State Milk Academy is one of oldest higher educational institutions in Vologda city of Russian Federation. Vologda State Milk Academy was founded in 1911 as a Vologda Dairy Institute. The purpose of Vologda State Milk Academy was to promote research in the field of dairy farming and cattle-breeding, and prepare graduates to serve as the region’s next generation of farmers and scholars. In 1995 the institute was renamed into Vologda State Milk Academy named after Nikolai Vereshchagin. Today Vologda State Milk Academy has seven buildings, four training and research centres. Vologda State Milk Academy conducts training in 26 departments with a staff of 405 qualified teachers. Till now Vologda State Milk Academy has trained 19000 professionals.
