Vologda State Milk Academy

Vologda State Milk Academy is one of oldest higher educational institutions in Vologda city of Russian Federation. Vologda State Milk Academy was founded in 1911 as a Vologda Dairy Institute. The purpose of Vologda State Milk Academy was to promote research in the field of dairy farming and cattle-breeding, and prepare graduates to serve as the region’s next generation of farmers and scholars. In 1995 the institute was renamed into Vologda State Milk Academy named after Nikolai Vereshchagin. Today Vologda State Milk Academy has seven buildings, four training and research centres. Vologda State Milk Academy conducts training in 26 departments with a staff of 405 qualified teachers. Till now Vologda State Milk Academy has trained 19000 professionals.
