Orel (Oryol) Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation is a federal state educational institution of higher education, which provides training, retraining and advanced training for law enforcement agencies. Orel Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation was founded in 1976 in Orel city of the Russian Federation. At present Orel Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation has 4 faculty, 14 departments and 8 auxiliary units. Currently the Institute has 450 qualified personnel, who trained 1300 students. Till now Orel Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation has trained about 16000 professionals. Today the institute’s graduates are working in operational units, investigative departments and offices. Among the graduates are the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of VietNam, heads of law enforcement agencies in Yemen and Afghanistan.
