Institute of Marine Technologies of Astrakhan State Technical University is a higher educational institute of Marine Technology in Astrakhan city of the Russian Federation. Institute of Marine Technologies was established in 1986 as an institute of Astrakhan State Technical University. Currently Institute of Marine Technologies has 8 faculties, 21 departments and staff of 210 skilled educators. Every year around 1200 receive graduate diplomas from Institute of Marine Technologies. In this short duration of time Institute of Marine Technologies has trained 12000 marine and marine engineers. At present Institute of Marine Technologies of Astrakhan State Technical University collaborates with the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (UK), University of Glasgow and Strayklayda (Scotland), Instoc (Norway) and Baltic group international (England).
