Ukhta State Technical University
Ukhta State Technical University (USTU) is a representative of the Oil and Gas University Union in Russia, one of the largest technical Universities in the European North-West of Russia. There are over 15 000 students studying at our university complex.

The university has a special training base near Ukhta with its own oil gas resources, forests, unique research laboratories in each academic department, 12 laboratory buildings, 14 student hostels, 2 sports complexes, 1 recreational complex (outside of the city), and geology-educational base.
Ukhta State Technical University collaborates with all leading oil and gas industry enterprises of the Russian Federation, including the Komi Republic, and foreign partners (oil gas, mining, geology, timber, and building industries).
